ENG Import File

OVERVIEW

The Import File feature is used to upload products or content using excel or csv files. You can upload products at once, making it shorter if you want to upload or update products in bulk.

* Note:

  • The Import File feature that has not yet appeared on the engine, can be activated by requesting via Live Chat on engine.compro.id or the Compro Support application.

  • After the request activates the Export/Import File Feature, then the feature will appear in the upper right corner of the menu.

  • The menus that contain the Import File feature include:
    Article, Contact, Gallery, Flexible List, Online Reservation, Product, Video, Wishlist, Audio, Book, Booking, Career, Category, Event, File, Hotel Room Booking, Service, and Master Product (Manage Vendor).


STAGES OF USING FEATURES

  1. Login engine.compro.id, then choose Manage.

  2. Select Menu, then click Manage Content.

  3. Click Import File.

  4. Then the page below will appear.

  • Example Append.csv : Example of a format for uploading a new file in csv.

  • Example Append.xlsx : Example of a structure for uploading a new file in csv.

  • Example Update.csv  : Example of a format for updating an existing file in csv.

  • Example Update.xlsx : Example of a structure for updating an existing file in the form of xls.

  • Append : used to upload new files.

  • Update  : used to update existing files.


  1. LATEST IMPORT FILE STAGES (First Time)

  1. Click Import File.

  2. Click Example Append.xlsx

  3. Next, edit the 'Example Append' file that has been downloaded.




    Note:

  • Title: Fill in the name of your product.

  • Featured image path: Fill with your product image link.
    *Note: To get the image link, follow these steps.

  • Open https://postimages.org/ , then click Pilih Gambar.

  • The image will automatically be uploaded.

  • Copy the link in Direct Address.

  • Content: Fill in your product description.

  • Subtitle: Fill in a brief description of your product.

  • Subcategory: Fill in the product subcategory.

  • Purchase Price: Fill in the purchase price of the product.

  • Old Sell Price: Fill in the old selling price of the product.

  • Sell Price: Fill in the selling price of the product.

  • Stock: Fill in the number of product stock.

  • Weight: Fill in the weight of the product in grams.

  • Length: Fill in the product length in cm.

  • Width: Fill in the product width in cm.

  • Height: Fill in the product height in cm.

  • SKU: Fill in the unique product code.

  • Has Variant: Fill in 'YES' if you have a product variant. Fill in 'NO' if you don't have a product variant.

  • Variant List: Fill in the variant of your product. For example, color and size. Please fill in the form: warna#ukuran

  • Product Variant: Fill with your variant product.

  1. Upload the edited 'Example Append' file by clicking the Choose File button.

    *Note: The maximum file size that can upload is 64 Mb.

  2. Select Append, then click Submit button.

  3. Click Requested File Progress, to see the Import File status.

  4. If the Import File is successful, then the status is Completed.

If the Import File fails, the status is Failed. Click view to see why Import File failed.

  1. Stages of Import File Update (Update existing files)

  1. Click Import File.

  2. Click Export File.xlsx

  3. Click Requested File Progress

  4. Click Download File

  5. Next, edit the data in the 'Export File' the downloaded file.

  6. If finished editing, click Import File.

  7. Upload the edited 'Export File' file by clicking the Choose File button.


    *Note: The maximum file size that can upload is 64 Mb

  8. Select Update, then click Submit button.

  9. Click Requested File Progress, to see the Import File status.

  10. If the Import File is successful, then the status is Completed.

  11. If the Import File fails, the status is Failed. Click view to see why Import File failed.
